MY PASSION IS CREATING EVENTS AS UNIQUE AS THE PERSON WE ARE CELEBRATING.
When my uncle died, I wanted to create an experience that reflected his unique life story, his dynamic personality, and his values.
In 2016, with a phone full of contacts and an event date, I planned a celebration of life for my uncle Brett in under two weeks. It was just like planning any other event, right?
I thought my corporate and wedding event planning background could help.
There was one problem: I had never done this kind of planning before.
Instead of grieving this massive loss, I spent so much time reading articles, watching dated YouTube videos, and trying to explore every option I could in order to figure out what was right for our family.
Instead of asking for help, I was making *detailed* technical instructions for our funeral director to follow, calling to ask for catering quotes, and scanning countless photos, when all I really wanted to do was rest and, frankly, be really sad that I just lost my uncle.
After his celebration of life, I decided to create New Narrative: an events company solely focused on planning Celebration of Life events.
We are company that is not affiliated with a funeral home and can be an events-focused professional to guide you to creating a custom, creative, and meaningful tribute for someone you love.
